Isaiah Zagar has recently graced the Eye’s Gallery with a crop of new original mosaics and a selection of one-of-a-kind porcelain pieces including platters, plates, bowls, mugs, and dishes. The latter is the culmination of a recent collaborative effort between the artist and Felt + Fat, a unique ceramics studio located in Philadelphia.  The makers at Felt + Fat create their items from a house formulated and mixed porcelain which are then cast in handmade molds, and finished with custom glazes.  Zagar’s signature hand-drawn bodies and body parts cavort and collide across the pristine ceramic space, and the results are bold, bright, and playful.
